Kuroko no Basuke EXTRA GAME is a short-running sequel of the originalKuroko no Basuke manga. It focuses on the events occurring after the Winter Cup and Seirin's victory. The sequel is published in Shōnen Jump Plus with the release date of the first chapter being December 25, 2014.

An American all-star streetball team, Team Jabberwock, is invited to Japan for a friendly game against the Japanese team, Team Strky. However, during the game everyone notices Jabberwock's mocking gameplay which humiliates the opposing team, making them seem worthless, resulting in the spectators not being able to enjoy the game even if they wanted to. After Team Strky's humiliating defeat, Gold who is Jabberwock's captain, has labeled the Japanese people as monkeys who cannot play basketball and has told them all to kill themselves. After hearing the team's proclamation, Kagetora challenges the team for a re-match against another Japanese team, which Jabberwock accepts. In a week's time Jabberwock is to face Team Vorpal Swords which is composed of the Generation of Miracles, Kuroko and Kagami.
